MAZE Day, Pizza and more

AHS parents,

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year at American High School! Tomorrow, Wednesday,August 24 is our second MAZE Days. Please review these two reminders. The MAZE schedule is listed below

  • The PTSA will be selling pizza lunches on MAZE day from 12:00–1:00 for $5 (cash only). Lunch includes two slices of pizza (cheese or pepperoni), a drink and a cookie. Lunch tickets will be sold before freshman orientation, 7:15–8:00 a.m. A limited number of lunch tickets will be available for sale after orientation.
  • In previous years, individual classroom teachers and departments have reached out to parents for donations. This year, in order to simplify requests for donations, we will only ask parents this one time for a voluntary contribution directly to our school. These donations are essential towards providing the supplies and materials needed for our many class offerings. We appreciate any assistance that you can provide. Please know that donations are voluntary and your student will not be limited in any way if you do not donate.

 We will see you tomorrow!

American High's Nest of Honor

For the last Nest of Honor of this year,  Mr. Fulton and Tara Habibi are our final inductees. This combo has been in charge of the activities at our school. The amount of work, dedication, and organization behind all the events at our campus could not have been executed effectively without Mr. Fulton and Tara. Both of them have been supportive in doing different activities to unify the school and increase spirit throughout the campus. The lip dub, rallies, and maze days are not possible without their guidance and leadership involvement. They think of this school every day and what they can do to improve the daily lives of students and staff members. Their selfless personality allows them to think of visualizing a school where everyone is proud to say they are a part of. Additionally, their excitement and passion about their jobs as activities director and ASB president allows events to function smoothly knowing they give their full attention to everything this school offers. They are role models to this campus and community because of their strong leadership, hard work, and vision to see American as the best school in Fremont. We are proud to induct Tara and Mr. Fulton into the Nest of Honor.
