We encourage ALL students to attend their regular scheduled MAZE day on 8/20 & 8/21. It is advised to come early and wait in line. To expedite this process please send your child(ren) prepared with all forms filled out in advance. Students need to submit their emergency card, signature page, donations (optional), get their picture taken for their AHS ID card, and pay for school photos (if purchasing pictures). Lifetouch is a separate check. Make your check out to "Lifetouch". All other checks for AHS need to be made payable to: FUSD / American High School


If you cannot attend your scheduled date we will have a Mini-Maze on Wednesday, August 28, beginning at 7:00 am in the AHS Library. Depending on how many students go through Mini Maze on the 1st day of school we will do our best to get them processed before schools starts at 9:00 am (1st day of school is a late start day).


Links to all MAZE forms are on the right of this page. There is a link below to pre-purchase items. A different Lifetouch picture envelope will be available for the Mini-Maze date. It is not the same envelope in the original packet. The dates are different.


MAZE Day packets will be available for pick up on 8/6 from 6:00 am-8:30 am, 8/7 & 8/8 from 5:00 pm-7:30 pm in front of Gateway. BRING YOUR YELLOW POST CARD!!


This is a drive thru pick up! Please do not park in the front – no spaces will be available. Important: This is packet pick up only, not the time for questions. Please call or email for any questions you have.


The AHS front office (Gateway) opens on 8/12 and packets will be available for pick up inside Gateway from 8:00 am- 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm-3:45 pm.


Please look for a large BRIGHT YELLOW postcard in the mail with the packet pick up schedule and the MAZE day schedule. Post cards will be mailed on July 15, 2019.

These two items are included in the packet. You can print another signature page but the emergency card is not available to print. Please do not lose this card. Do not leave any spaces blank on the emergency card. Make sure all yellow highlighted areas are filled in.


You can make all of your ASB and PE Purchases ahead of time here. All checks written to the school must be made payable to FUSD/American High School (required to have FUSD in front of school name, new district policy).
