Local STEM Science Summer Program Is Coming To AHS To Talk About Their Summer Opportunities

Aspiring Scholars Directed Research Program (ASDRP) is a nonprofit summer program that provides opportunities for high school students throughout the Bay Area.  


Learn what’s going on at ASDRP for summer 2019 by coming to the FLEX period presentation on Weds, February 13th in the Career Center near the library.  Students will learn how to find other. local summer activities information online.  



At ASDRP, students participate in research projects across various subjects in STEM, including chemistry, biology, computational modeling, computer science, and much more.


  • ASDRP provides students with real researchers who mentor students with fun laboratory equipment in their research laboratory in Fremont.

  • Students get a chance to work on designing untested research projects.

  • Students learn how to verify their research by developing a scientific research papers and show their results.  There’s even a chance to present at their “End-of-Summer Expo”.

  • ASDRP encourages students from all socioeconomic backgrounds to apply, as we offer financial aid to interested applicants
